Prior to Paper I hardly used my iPad other than reading. Now I don’t want to put it down! This is the only drawing app I’ve used that feels natural. I did not have to learn anything. I’m never struggling to remember where a tool is or how it works. It is literally as easy as paper and pencil.
The creators obviously spent alot of time thinking about this app. There hard work shows through. I appreciate the simplicity and lack of drop down menus and hidden buttons!
The pricing model is odd, but if you don’t think of it as $2 per tool then it’s really just one $8 app, which is a very reasonable price for an app of this caliber. Besides, I’ve spent more than $2 on real pens because they were that good…and the pens in this app are that good.
If you like drawing, sketching, doodling, and being free to let you creativity flourish then you wont be disappointed with Paper.
I recently started using Paper, a brilliant app for the iPad. It’s the first app I’ve reviewed on the app store because it’s that good. These were my comments on the App Store. (via bejonbee)
